What this shop does with what you tell it. Written to be read rather than agreed to without reading.
The law that applies is Indonesia’s own: Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi. NHK Store is the controller of everything described below.
What we collect when you order
A name, an email address, a phone number and a delivery address. Nothing else. There is no account and no password, because there is nothing here to log into.
The order itself is kept against those details — what you bought, what it cost, which courier carried it — so that we can send it, answer questions about it, and honour the warranty.
What we collect when you check a delivery price
Whichever kecamatan or postcode you type. It is remembered inside your own browser so you are not asked again on the next product page, and clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes it. It is not kept as a record here.
What we collect when you write to us about an order
The order number and email you use to identify yourself, whatever you tell us is wrong, and any photographs you attach. Photographs are stored against that order and are deleted with it.
What we never collect
Card numbers. The card fields at checkout are handled entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us, and nothing is stored.
Anything about how you browse. There is no Google Analytics here, no advertising pixel, no session recording, no profiling and no tracker of any kind. When your browser loads a page of this shop it contacts our own two servers and nobody else’s — not a font service, not a content network, not an advertiser. We do not know how many pages you looked at before you bought something, and we have not built a way to find out.
We have no mailing list. We do not sell, rent or hand your details to anybody who wants to sell you something.
Who else sees your details
- The courier. JNE or SiCepat is given your name, address and phone number, because somebody has to carry the parcel to your door.
- Komerce, the service that prices Indonesian shipping. It is given a postcode or a kecamatan and a parcel weight — never your name, your address line, your email or your order.
- The companies that run our machines: the host our shop and website sit on, and the service that sends our email. They hold what any host holds, and they use it for nothing of their own.
Nobody else. If a court or the police compel us we will comply, and that is the only other case.
How long we keep it
- Orders — ten years. A business in Indonesia has to keep its books that long, and an order is part of ours.
- Photographs sent with a payment confirmation, a return or a claim — for as long as the order they belong to.
- The basket cookie — thirty days, or until you place the order, whichever comes first.
- The delivery destination in your browser — until you clear it. It was never ours to keep.
What you can ask us to do
Under the PDP law you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or object to how it is being used. Write to us and we will answer. We will not ask you why.
Deletion has one limit. An order we are still required by law to keep cannot be erased, and if that applies to yours we will say so plainly rather than quietly not doing it.
Cookies
One, and it holds your basket. The whole of it is on the cookies page.
If this changes
The date at the top of this page is the day it last did. We will not rewrite it quietly and let it look as though it always said this.
